Dolce Gusto Chia Pudding.
Puddings are my favourite desserts, but they are not so healthy and usually loaded with sugar and artificial flavours.
Since I discovered chia seeds, I make my own and enjoy them without feeling guilty or damaging my health with industrial chemicals.
I will share different recipes of chia puddings on my blog as I make them.
I am experimenting with different ingredients.
This one is a little bit different than what I usually make, but it’s so delicious.
Before I jump into the recipe I want you to know that anything sweet that you like to eat can be made in a healthier version with less sugar and other chemicals that big food companies put in them.
All you have to do is have a little bit of imagination and a few healthy ingredients. 🙂
So, here we go! You will need the following ingredients:
1 Dolce Gusto Nescafe or 1 tea spoon of instant coffee
2 tablespoons of chia seeds
1-1/2 stevia sachet
1/2 cup of milk of your choice ( almond, rice, oat, coconut etc)
2 chopped almonds to garnish (optional)
3 frozen cherries (optional)
Brew your coffee like you would make a short espresso, about 50 ml.
If you are using instant coffee, just add about 50 ml of hot water.
Then add the milk, chia seeds and stevia. Stir well and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes place it in a pudding cup and leave it in the fridge over night.
Before serving, if you wish, garnish with few cherries or any other fruit that you like and chopped almonds.
This is great to enjoy in the afternoon instead of coffee or in the morning after your workout.
