Fitness should be fun and not a chore!
This is so true.
After a few months of loafing around and trying a few different things and programs, I finally found something that I like and that I can enjoy for a long time.

This is a low impact 6 week program, perfect for us Ladies after 40 years who might have a knee injury and can’t do any jumping or crazy P90X exercises.
This is also for people, like myself, who like to exercise at home. It’s just perfect.

The program is a first “Walk on Walk Strong” programme (Walk STRONG: 6 Week Total Transformation System) by Jessica Smith TV.
I just finished Week 2. A review is coming up soon and I feel fantastic and I can already see a difference in my body.
The programme comes with a 6 week (pdf version) calendar and 10 different 30 minutes workouts. You can purchase a DVD set or you can get a digital copy of it, which I got, because it instantly downloadable and you can start the same day.
Also you will get a Welcome guide, which you can print out and read everyday for more inspiration, and tips on why you should do this programme.
You will also get information on how to “check in” on their forum, so that you can write how you feel doing it and it will keep you more accountable to finish the program, because you get support from other people on the forum and Jessica Smith’s TV team.

This is not for someone who didn’t exercise for a long time or is injured and can’t do any body weight training such as squats, lounges, planks etc. This is not a crazy “hard core” programme.
This is almost for everyone who has been exercising for a while and is enjoying low impact training and more structure.
However, if you are just starting you can find free walking exercises on youtube, simply by typing in these key words – “walking exercises” and you will get search results with everything that is available.
Also, don’t forget to go outside and just walk with your friend, partner, dogs etc. But these indoor “walking” routines are great for me, because I suffer from pollen allergies and can’t do much walking outside.
My two favourite “walking” instructors are: Jessica Smith and Leslie Sansone. I am subscribed to both of them on youtube. I have also purchased 4 digital DVD from Jessica Smith, but I don’t own any Leslie Sansone DVDs, because I didn’t find any digital copies.
