Super Easy Granola Recipe.

Do you read food labels and ingredients on the “healthy fitness” cereals and granolas?

Well, I do. Not only that they are loaded with sugar, but they are also loaded with different preservatives and colouring known as E numbers which are very bad for our health.

Always read food labels and ingredients for what ever you buy, but also try to avoid buying anything that is processed and not healthy.

Just stick to whole food.

I never buy fitness products and even if I would buy them, I would make sure that the list of ingredients is good.

This also applies to good quality protein powder, because I use it a lot to make healthy treats for me.

Don’t ever forget that the food industry is a big giant who is trying to sell products under “healthy” labels just to make money. They don’t care, but you should care and love yourself, and never buy them. Instead make your own healthy version.

So, today for you I have this granola recipe, that’s very easy to make and you can use it on your morning porridge, greek yogurt, smoothies, on top of fruit, chia puddings etc.

Just make sure that you don’t over eat it, because even healthy food can make you gain weight.

Healthy and Super Easy Granola Recipe

Home made Granola

INGREDIENTS

2 cups of oats
1/2 tbsp of your favourite spice: cinnamon, cloves, pumpkin spice, all spice, ginger etc
1/2 cup raw nuts/seeds
1/4 cup chopped dried fruit
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla or almond flavour
1/8 cup of fat or about 2 tbsp: coconut oil, melted butter or grape seed oil
1/8 cup or about 2 tbsp of honey or maple syrup

METHOD

Firstly combine all the dry ingredients. Separately combine all the wet ingredients mixing them well. Then Combine both ingredients wet and dry, mix very well and spread on a pizza or baking tray.

Bake for approximately 30 minutes on 150 Celsius (350F) or until golden.

This should lasts you at leat 2-3 weeks. Enjoy!
